Mission Statement

The mission of Humboldt Middle School in partnership with parents and community is to provide each student with a challenging education that enhances academic excellence, stimulates creativity, develops critical thinking, and fosters respect for self and community.

School Beliefs

• Learning, achieving, and succeeding can be achieved by all students.

• Students have the right to a safe environment in which learning can takes place; therefore, students should demonstrate behavior consistent with school rules.

• Learning should be a responsibility shared by students, teachers, parents, and the community. Lifelong learning should be emphasized and relevant to real-life experiences.

• Various teaching methods and assessments along with high-tech resources provide opportunities for success.

• Each student is a worthy individual with unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.

• Teachers and students should have respect and knowledge for all ethnic groups and cultural diversities.
