 Welcome to the Humboldt City Schools’ website.  This website will keep you abreast of the achievements and activities going on in our schools.  Weekly updates will be included throughout the year.  An alumni site will be added so that graduates can keep up with their fellow classmates.  I encourage you to join the association and keep up with the Vikings.

As Superintendent, I am indeed proud of our staff and the progress we are making in TCAP scores.  We recently received a personal phone call from the Tennessee Commissioner of Education, Kevin Huffman, commending Humboldt City Schools on its progress.  The goal for this next year will be to continue moving in a positive direction.  We are a district on the move with the technology and staff to drive us forward. 

This school year will bring a vast number of changes to schools throughout the state.  Another of our goals will be to meet these challenges and to provide the best quality education for our students.  It should never be forgotten that we “serve our children”.
