Please help your child each night with their homework. They will always have the B side of the math that we have worked on for the day. They will usually have a reading worksheet that is about a skill that we have covered for the week. They will also have an English worksheet on hte back of the reading worksheet. Their spelling words are written in their agenda book on Friday for the next week's test.
Every child should read at least 20 minutes a night to a parent or guardian. As the child reads, please ask questions about the story to see if they are understanding the words as they read them.
Our weekly stories are:
Oct. 22-26 Miss Rumphius
Oct. 29-Nov. 2 Hungry Spider
Nov.5-9 Aunt Fox and Fried Fish
Nov.12-16 Dogzilla
Nov. 19-30 the Mysterious Giant of Barletta

The class has made some interesting projects that are displayed in the hallway, so I hope you will stop by to see them.
.
It is also very important that you look at their behavior marks in their planner every day. Also please sign the planner every night.
Each day you can help your child have a good start to the day by being sure they are clean and in uniform. Then check to be sure they have a pencil. tablet and crayons for their daily work.
I truly appreciate your help and cooperation!
